Susan,

I was with Jen and Erika that are friends on your myspace up at Rainbow Mountain when you performed last. I wanted to say again that I have not laughed like that in a long time. You were so good. I know she is planning on us all going to see you when you are in the area next so I hope to keep in touch. Thanks again for the great time.. Pete

Hello,
Im a gay man (well, gay young man, im 19) , who has just moved to university and come out. I have found the snippets of your show on youtube a great way of showing my straight friends that gay people are not all television and radio stereotypes (such as Jack from will & Grace) I really just wanted to thank you, and to ask if there was anyway I could see your full show, gay101 in the uk (or get hold of a DVD)
Thank you again
Tom

“dear susan,
hello from a finnish girl in germany :)
on youtube.com i came across some clips of your shows and i had to laugh so much that my belly was aching for a very long time. but well, now i am glad to know that my girlfriend does not like beer ;) just wondering what it means if she says “i prefer greek wine” … anyway, after seeing your clips i put two of them in my profile here, and now i thought “almost everybody is on myspace … let’s see if susan is here …” and there you are! one day i just have to see one of your shows live!
god bless you!

Hello Susan. I saw you a few times when you lived and performed in Minneapolis and always loved your comedy and characters. I’m so glad to have found you on the net!! I am also an out comedian and love that you have been one to break boundaries and pave the way for other gay funny people.

Thank you for making it ok for us to be us.

Dear comedian! I think you are amazing and if there is an upcoming show, please add me to your mailing list. Once again, thank you for your art.

One of my most treasured possessions is a knackered fourth generation once removed video tape of a telly programme called ‘Buffalo Café’. This precious artefact is wrapped in archive quality tissue paper and kept in a drawer, tabs punched out to avoid accidental overtaping in the days when this was cutting-edge technology, taken out reverently and watched on high days and holidays. Sadly, bunting is often involved. Everytime of viewing there’s an unspoken question. Whatever happened to that stunning and hilarious Vicki Vivrette / Susan Norfleet, I wonder ? She doesn’t seem to tour Britain very often. [And quite right too. It rains incessantly : moisture on this scale can play havoc with a girl’s crowning glory] But thank you for this delicious website, especially the masterly exposition of ‘Gay 101′, and cheering up a dull Wednesday afternoon.

PS. It’s been years, but I’m still residually devastated about Boyd. Sheesh. That was a hard call.
If you ever come to Kent, please email and I’ll buy you a beverage of your choice.
